Drafting the Script

I am now going to start drafting the first script for my film trailer. This is my first attempt at the script so it will probably be changed a few times before I get the final outcome. The script will be rehearsed by the actresses and then I will start filming the trailer and changing parts I dont think have worked etc.

Jo- The Bride

Lucy- Bridesmaid

Katy - Bridesmaid

Scene 1
Jo- 'I want you two to be my bridesmaids!'
Lucy- 'Really? ermm yesss'
Katy- 'Oh my god. Obviously I will'
Jo- 'Now, I know you two dont know each other very w                 ell but hopefully you'll both get along just fine and we will have soo much fun!'
Lucy-'Yes, everything will be just perfect for your big day!'


Scene 2
Jo- 'So I want you two to decide what colour dresses you want, surprise me!'
Katy-'Oh Wow, Im thinking Pink!?'
Lucy-'Oh.. I was thinking Red? A little more elegant?'
Katy-'Oh right, well we have to ask Joe, see what she thinks?'
Lucy-'Yeah, she will probably like Red though, im sure its her
favourite colour'


Scene 3- The day of the Wedding
Lucy-'Nooo, this ones mine! What the hell do you think you are doing!?'
Katy-'What!? You know that this one is mine, your going to rip it!!'
Lucy & Katy-'OH MY GOD'
Lucy- 'She is gonna kill us..'
Katy- 'What were you thinking!? You have just ripped my dress!!'


Scene 4
Katy-'We can fix it, righttt?'
Lucy- 'Not with glue we cant! what are you doing, Joes going to be here soon!?
Katy- 'Well what the hell are we gonna do? Your going to have to tell Jo'
Lucy- 'IM not telling her. It was your fault..'
Katy-'Fine. Were both going to have to do it then.'


Scene 5
Katy-'Yeh! you did say suprise us!'
Jo-'Nope, I cant wait!! Im coming in!'
Katy & Lucy- 'Noooooo'


Scene 6
Jo-'What's up?'
Lucy-'Just give us a few minutes Joe!'
Joe walks into the room
Jo- 'What is up? why are you both so shifty?
Katy-'Nothing were just nervous!'
Joe notices the dress
'Joe-'What have you done!!!'



Scene 7
Lucy-'It was her fault!'
Jo-'This is meant to be my wedding day!'
Katy-'We are so so sorry...'


Now I have completed my first draft script for the film trailer I will start filming and seeing what lines work and what may need changing. Hopefully, the script I have started to write brings comedy and fun to the trailer and will entice people to watch it! I have left my draft script on a cliff hanger, hopefully this will work! if not I will carry on the script. I also need to make sure the trailer lasts around 3 minutes.
